Why do
children need foster parents?
When children are abused or neglected, a judge may decide it’s not safe
for a child to remain with their parents. Cabarrus Child Welfare Division
is authorized by the court to place them in a temporary home where they will
be cared for, while services are provided to help parents and children be
reunited.
Why
do children need adoptive parents?
When birth parents cannot care for their children, a permanent adoptive home
is needed. These children need families willing to make a real commitment
to them with a forever home.
The most important trait an adoptive or foster parent can have is the desire to be one.
